I've framed homes, hotels and apartment buildings for over 20 years. Trusses come from a truss supplier, so truss counts aren't part of any takeoff here.
Why this exists
I see a lot of material quotes that look cheaper because they leave things out. Sheathing, hardware, headers, underlayment and flashing, a beam that's "by others," a 50% deposit with a 15-day price hold. Builders end up comparing totals that aren't for the same job. A second look fixes that before the deposit goes out, not after the truck shows up.
How I work
- Every quote goes into a workbook as written. Every takeoff line shows the plan sheet it came from. Every assumption is visible.
- AI software does first-pass takeoffs and drafting. I check every number before it goes out.
- I don't contact vendors, negotiate, or steer you to anyone.
- No charge until I've approved your files. Then you get an invoice.
